Saul Montez yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. In the 6th minute, Abel Ghost left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ciudad Tao FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. Abel Ghost sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Saul Montez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Abel Ghost in the 13th minute of the match. Abel Ghost could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 14th minute of the match, but Saul Montez made a huge save. Abel Ghost struck a weak shot in the 15th minute. Saul Montez didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ciudad Tao FC. In the 24th minute, Abel Ghost left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ciudad Tao FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. 28 minutes into the game, Lyons's Marco Quirze nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Tzoko Quaade made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. The audience was convinced that Abel Ghost's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Saul Montez was relentless in the 34th minute of the game. In the 36th minute, Abel Ghost got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 37 minutes into the game, Ciudad Tao FC's Abel Ghost nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Abel Ghost ran back to his position shaking his head. The audience thought a goal was coming when Abel Ghost got free with Saul Montez in the 45th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Froilan Joey kicked well hit freekick during the 48th minute of the match. Abel Ghost struck a weak shot in the 49th minute. Saul Montez didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ciudad Tao FC. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Wiktor Holmberg was the one to do the kick off. In the 54thth minute of the game Abel Ghost who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Lyons's Saul Montez was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 69th minute the ball was on its way in behind Lyons's goalkeeper Saul Montez, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Saul Montez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abel Ghost in the 73rd minute of play. The supporters of Lyons booed when Ciudad Tao FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Abel Ghost didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 78th match minute, Ciudad Tao FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jack Ahlerot to maneuver through the defense. Marco Quirze received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Tzoko Quaade came out and tried to block the shot, but Marco Quirze slotted it home off the left post making it 6-2 in the 84th minute. If Abel Ghost had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 87th minute Abel Ghost shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Saul Montez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Lyons booed when Ciudad Tao FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wiktor Holmberg didn't get a good kick on the ball.
