Putra Rewulu's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Joinville Esporte Clube the free kick. In the 4th minute, Dede Harjo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpected shot in the 9th minute by Pär Goy got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Wellington Montenegro made a fantastic save in the 11th minute, when Pär Goy sent off a good shot on target. If Bagong Pakasi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Yaya Assegaf came up free with the goalie in the 22nd minute, the Putra Rewulu fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Yaya Assegaf couldn't finish the play. Yaya Assegaf sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 41st minute of the match, Pär Goy got a very nice opportunity to score, but Wellington Montenegro was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. After having played for 42 minutes, Yaya Assegaf managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Putra Rewulu's supporters crossed their fingers, but Yaya Assegaf was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 44 played minutes Joinville Esporte Clube got a freekick which was hit by Júlio Valladares. An unexpected shot in the 45th minute by Pär Goy got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Wellington Montenegro was out of position in the 47 minute of play, and Bagong Pakasi capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Bagong Pakasi really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when José Paulo Sousa made the kick off in the second half. Pär Goy fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wellington Montenegro having to interfere. When Yaya Assegaf, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 55 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Wellington Montenegro was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Putra Rewulu's Yaya Assegaf got a good chance for a goal in the 59th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 67 minutes of play Putra Rewulu's Dede Harjo was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In the 67th minute, Dede Harjo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Wellington Montenegro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Yaya Assegaf in the 73rd minute of play. José Paulo Sousa's late challenge caught a Putra Rewulu's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. José Paulo Sousa helped the player get up and apologised. José Paulo Sousa kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. After 83 played minutes Putra Rewulu got a freekick which was hit by Daniel Zonta. Adrianus Tambunan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from José Paulo Sousa in the 84th minute of play. When Yaya Assegaf came up free with the goalie in the 86th minute, the Putra Rewulu fans jumped to their feet. The referee ignored Putra Rewulu's protests and gave Mahadi Anhar a yellow card for diving instead. In a very dangerous position, a player in Putra Rewulu fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 87th minute. Penalty! The goalkeeper, Adrianus Tambunan, was totally fooled by Joinville Esporte Clube's Fausto Aguiar, who 89 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Bagong Pakasi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Adrianus Tambunan didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Deivid Vaz went, in the 93rd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. Deivid Vaz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Daniel Zonta hit a great freekick 98 minutes into the match. Putra Rewulu were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
