Nilson do Vale showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Delmar Berenguer in the 16th minute of the match. 19 minutes into the match, Bandelocos's goal looked a bit too open when Marek Kaider came free, but Nilson do Vale reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 20th minute of the match Hahay got a corner. Bandelocos's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Delmar Berenguer ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Bandelocos's goalie and right to Thomas Ulleberg. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Bandelocos's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Nilson do Vale took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Delmar Berenguer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Luiz Guilherme Varela got free with Edgar Smuskiewicz in the 25th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Edgar Smuskiewicz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Billy Dowdall in the 26th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Valdir Garcia in the 31st minute of play forced Hahay's goalkeeper Edgar Smuskiewicz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 33rd minute Luiz Guilherme Varela shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edgar Smuskiewicz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Valdir Garcia in the 35th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Edgar Smuskiewicz saved Hahay from getting behind. When Hahay's Delmar Berenguer in the 37th minute got a chance for a shot 37th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Bandelocos's goalie prevented a goal. 39 minutes into the game, Maurinho Vargas threw the ball into play from the sideline. Hahay's Thomas Ulleberg quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. The audience was convinced that Valdir Garcia's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Edgar Smuskiewicz was relentless in the 46th minute of the game. Luiz Guilherme Varela fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edgar Smuskiewicz having to interfere. The supporters of Hahay booed when Bandelocos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Maurinho Vargas didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bandelocos were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
