If Steve Gerrard had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Delmar Berenguer in the 9th minute of play forced Bandelocos's goalkeeper Nilson do Vale to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Aigeus Milionis stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Valdir Garcia's shot from short distance in the 13th minute. Anísio Teixeira kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. Delmar Berenguer's shot from long distance in the 16th minute was not bad at all, but Bandelocos's Nilson do Vale knew what was happening and pushed the ball into his arms just before it hit the right post. Steve Gerrard hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Steve Gerrard got free with Nilson do Vale in the 30th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Bandelocos's Nilson do Vale proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 35th minute of the match, managed to save Bandelocos from getting a goal against them. In the 36th minute of the match Hahay got a corner. Bandelocos's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Delmar Berenguer ran over to the corner to take the kick. Nilson do Vale took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Steve Gerrard, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Delmar Berenguer took the ball and in the 44 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Nilson do Vale. Nilson do Vale dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. After a rather tough play, Bandelocos's Ezequiel Velasco got a free kick in the 47th minute. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Aigeus Milionis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Valdir Garcia in the 51st minute of the match. 57 minutes into the game, Delmar Berenguer cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Nilson do Vale was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 60th minute, Delmar Berenguer got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Hahay's Gilbert Zajac was substituted for Wágner de Amorim. Billy Dowdall could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 63rd minute of the match, but Aigeus Milionis made a huge save. The throw-in from Ezequiel Velasco in the 65th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Hahay's Wawrzyniec Glapiak. Delmar Berenguer scored 3-0 in the 69th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Nilson do Vale, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Aigeus Milionis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Billy Dowdall, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Valdir Garcia got free with Aigeus Milionis in the 73rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Hahay's Aigeus Milionis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Billy Dowdall in the 82nd minute of play. Hahay's Sebastian Fleischer was substituted for Basilio Nataniel. Ezequiel Velasco made in the 85th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Daniel Brasil however managed to control. Luiz Guilherme Varela received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Aigeus Milionis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Bandelocos booed when Hahay was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Boruc Radzyminski didn't get a good kick on the ball. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Hahay were victorious despite being under pressure from Bandelocos for much of the match.
