If Bernardo Cresconio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 10th minute, Lu 胡义勇 ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Tigran Balayan was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. 14 minutes into the game, Grigor Grigoryan lined in a short shot 1-2 behind a frustrated Modesto Bingen. 24 minutes into the match, Desfachatados F.C.'s goalkeeper Modesto Bingen had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Grigor Grigoryan. Basilio Pueblo kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Grigor Grigoryan in the 31st minute of play forced Desfachatados F.C.'s goalkeeper Modesto Bingen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bernardo Cresconio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tigran Balayan having to interfere. 42 minutes into the match, Desfachatados F.C.'s goalkeeper Modesto Bingen had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Grigor Grigoryan. The crowd rose to their feet as Khachatryan's Grigor Grigoryan slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Modesto Bingen. That made the score 2-2 after 42 minutes of play.

The wind increased when Fabio Acosta made the kick off in the second half. Desfachatados F.C.'s attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Patricio Paz in the 54th minute. A well-hit corner resulted in Bernardo Cresconio heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Modesto Bingen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kurtis Wooten, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. Khachatryan made a substitution. Alex Raţiu replaced Arno Martirosyan. Alex Raţiu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Modesto Bingen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Khachatryan made a substitution. Tommy Landis replaced Remigiusz Adamus. In the 64th match minute, Khachatryan was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hugon Smolarek to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Desfachatados F.C.'s Patricio Paz got a free kick in the 66th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Desfachatados F.C.'s zone, Grigor Grigoryan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Modesto Bingen came out of the goal and Grigor Grigoryan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Modesto Bingen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alex Raţiu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Desfachatados F.C.'s Modesto Bingen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kurtis Wooten in the 69th minute of play. Fabio Acosta could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 76th minute of the match, but Tigran Balayan made a huge save. Modesto Bingen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kurtis Wooten, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. Alex Raţiu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 88 minutes into the match, Desfachatados F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Alex Raţiu came free, but Modesto Bingen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 89th minute of the match Khachatryan got a corner. Desfachatados F.C.'s goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Abel Avetisyan ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Khachatryan's Abel Avetisyan to fire away a dangerous shot which Modesto Bingen despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
