Wincent Drab took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leonard Pochorylo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thunderstorm Riders's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Leonard Pochorylo in the 3rd minute. Leonard Pochorylo made a great header on Thunderstorm Riders's corner, it was just that FC Grodzka's Wincent Drab managed to reach the ball for a save. Borys Dulka received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Wincent Drab tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Wincent Drab showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leonard Pochorylo, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Leonard Pochorylo in the 12th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Wincent Drab saved FC Grodzka from getting behind. 14 minutes into the match, Borys Brytan dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Miguel do Vale, 1-1. In the 16th minute, Leonard Pochorylo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, FC Grodzka's Marcin Ptaszek got a free kick in the 17th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jan Zecman during the 19th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 19th match minute, FC Grodzka was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jan Zecman to maneuver through the defense. Wincent Drab took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Antoni Przybylo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 25th minute, Jan Zecman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 33 minutes into the match, Thunderstorm Riders's goal looked a bit too open when Alfred Kaczeniak came free, but Miguel do Vale reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 38 minutes into the match, Borys Dulka notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of FC Grodzka's Wincent Drab. Wincent Drab was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Borys Dulka in the 41st minute of play forced FC Grodzka's goalkeeper Wincent Drab to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 42 played minutes Thunderstorm Riders got a freekick which was hit by Olgierd Karp. 45 minutes into the game, Nelson de Toledo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Grodzka's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Thunderstorm Riders the free kick. Leonard Pochorylo's late challenge caught a FC Grodzka's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Leonard Pochorylo helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Thunderstorm Riders getting a freekick after 48 minutes play. Leonard Pochorylo hit a great ball. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

After a rather tough play, FC Grodzka's Cyprian Knopek got a free kick in the 53rd minute. Antoni Przybylo kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Thunderstorm Riders's zone, Borys Brytan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Miguel do Vale came out of the goal and Borys Brytan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Leonard Pochorylo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Thunderstorm Riders's Cyryl Skaradoski was substituted for Zbyszko Budacz. Wincent Drab made an important save on a dangerous shot by Borys Dulka in the 73rd minute. 77 minutes into the game, Borys Brytan was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Grodzka's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Thunderstorm Riders the free kick. Borys Brytan hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. Edmund Konieczny made in the 83rd minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Cyryl Skaradoski. Miguel do Vale showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Borys Brytan, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. Wincent Drab made a fantastic save in the 89th minute, when Leonard Pochorylo sent off a good shot on target. Cyryl Skaradoskis short, quick shot in the 93rdth minute got Wincent Drab to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Korneliusz Kolba kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. After 96 played minutes, FC Grodzka's Alfred Kaczeniak shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Miguel do Vale came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in FC Grodzka reached it. Thunderstorm Riders played a much better game than FC Grodzka and deserved their victory. The FC Grodzka players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
