After having played for 2 minutes, Guo Hao Chen managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Santos de Buenos Aires FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Guo Hao Chen was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Guo Hao Chen's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 6thth minute, Tuncer Polathan skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Tuncer Polathan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sixto Cuartas in the 11th minute of play. Tuncer Polathan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rodrigo Calvet, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Santos de Buenos Aires FC booed when Tapa Red F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tiago Herro didn't get a good kick on the ball. With his leg Tuncer Polathan managed to avoid a goal in the 16thth minute, when Santos de Buenos Aires FC's Guo Hao Chen fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Mariusz Pudzianowski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Diego Melendez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Diego Melendez came out of the goal in the 27th minute to try and stop a shot by Tapa Red F.C's Mariusz Pudzianowski. But to his dismay, Mariusz Pudzianowski quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. After some careless play in the Santos de Buenos Aires FC defense, Mariusz Pudzianowski kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Diego Melendez. The Santos de Buenos Aires FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Diego Melendez should have stopped the shot. Santos de Buenos Aires FC's Diego Melendez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mariusz Pudzianowski in the 38th minute of play. In the 42nd match minute, Santos de Buenos Aires FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Guo Hao Chen to maneuver through the defense. In the 43rd minute Mariusz Pudzianowski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Diego Melendez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fernando Farias kicked well hit freekick during the 50th minute of the match. A collision led to Tapa Red F.C getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. John Villalon hit a great ball.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Guo Hao Chen to strike the kick off in the second half. Mariusz Pudzianowski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Diego Melendez having to interfere. When the match clock showed 58 minutes, the score became 1-2 when Guo Hao Chen sped through Tapa Red F.C's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Tuncer Polathan. Tuncer Polathan came out of the goal in the 61st minute to try and stop a shot by Santos de Buenos Aires FC's Modesto Caetano. But to his dismay, Modesto Caetano quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. Modesto Caetano took the ball and in the 67 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tuncer Polathan. Tuncer Polathan dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Modesto Caetano in the 70th minute of play forced Tapa Red F.C's goalkeeper Tuncer Polathan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 72 minutes into the match, Santos de Buenos Aires FC's goal looked a bit too open when Mariusz Pudzianowski came free, but Diego Melendez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tuncer Polathan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rodrigo Calvet in the 77th minute of play. After 78 played minutes Tapa Red F.C got a freekick which was hit by Daniel Dobrzechowski. The Tapa Red F.C fans' excitement grew in the 82nd match minute when Tapa Red F.C's Mariusz Pudzianowski looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Guo Hao Chen took the ball and in the 85 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tuncer Polathan. Tuncer Polathan dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-3. Modesto Caetano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tuncer Polathan having to interfere. Tapa Red F.C's Tuncer Polathan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Guo Hao Chen in the 91st minute of play. 95 minutes into the match, Modesto Caetano had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Tuncer Polathan. Tapa Red F.C's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Modesto Caetano was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-3. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mariusz Pudzianowski in the 98th minute of play forced Santos de Buenos Aires FC's goalkeeper Diego Melendez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
