A sloppy throw-in by Frits Platvoet in the 8th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Tapa Red F.C's Etxahun Curiel. Mariusz Pudzianowski charged in rather forcefully in the 9th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Mariusz Pudzianowski the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Mariusz Pudzianowski kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. Tuncer Polathan stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Riemer Mulders's shot from short distance in the 10th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Riemer Mulders in the 12th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tuncer Polathan saved Tapa Red F.C from getting behind. Tuncer Polathan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Riemer Mulders, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Leendert Borg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mariusz Pudzianowski in the 23rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Riemer Mulders in the 31st minute of play forced Tapa Red F.C's goalkeeper Tuncer Polathan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Riemer Mulders in the 32nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tuncer Polathan prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 33rdth minute of the game Riemer Mulders who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Tapa Red F.C's Tuncer Polathan was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 35 minutes into the match, Mariusz Pudzianowski dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Leendert Borg, 2-0. Tuncer Polathan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Riemer Mulders in the 39th minute of the match. Tapa Red F.C's Tuncer Polathan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Riemer Mulders in the 43rd minute of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Mariusz Pudzianowski to make the kick off. 50 minutes into the game, John Villalon was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Tapa Red F.C's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Albertus FC the free kick. In the 51st minute, John Villalon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tuncer Polathan acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 51st minute, took the ball on the long shot from Cristo Guzman. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Klaas Jan Klaassen in the 52nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tuncer Polathan saved Tapa Red F.C from getting behind. Ferdi Merenga received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Tuncer Polathan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Riemer Mulders came up free with the goalie in the 57th minute, the Albertus FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Riemer Mulders couldn't finish the play. Riemer Mulders in the 62ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Tuncer Polathan, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Leendert Borg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mariusz Pudzianowski in the 63rd minute of the match. Riemer Mulders who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 65thth minute tested the skills of Tuncer Polathan when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The supporters of Tapa Red F.C booed when Albertus FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pieter Theissen didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Riemer Mulders had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ed 冯义兴 could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 86th minute of the match, but Tuncer Polathan made a huge save. In the 89thth minute of the game Klaas Jan Klaassen who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Tapa Red F.C's Tuncer Polathan was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The supporters of Tapa Red F.C booed when Albertus FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pieter Theissen didn't get a good kick on the ball. 92 minutes into the match, Albertus FC's goal looked a bit too open when Mariusz Pudzianowski came free, but Leendert Borg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. For all the effort they put into the match, the Albertus FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Tapa Red F.C.
