Cruzeiro Esporte Clube's Arthur Bufi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Paulão Pombal in the 32nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by 余永川 in the 35th minute of play forced Triforce Super Soccer's goalkeeper Adelino Freire to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Triforce Super Soccer reached it. In the 44th match minute, Cruzeiro Esporte Clube was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cristi Saron to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dedê Fernandez in the 45th minute of play forced Cruzeiro Esporte Clube's goalkeeper Arthur Bufi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gwidon Cwojdak kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gwidon Cwojdak made a kick off. Adelino Freire showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gwidon Cwojdak, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. During the 53rd minute of the match Dedê Fernandez completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Dedê Fernandez a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. In the 55th minute, Gwidon Cwojdak reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Adelino Freire. The goal made the score 0-2. After having played for 60 minutes, Paulão Pombal managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Triforce Super Soccer's supporters crossed their fingers, but Paulão Pombal was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 63 minutes into the match, Triforce Super Soccer's goal looked a bit too open when Gwidon Cwojdak came free, but Adelino Freire reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 64th minute, Dagoberto Vieira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 余永川 struck a weak shot in the 72nd minute. Adelino Freire didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cruzeiro Esporte Clube. Adelino Freire made an important save on a dangerous shot by 余永川 in the 76th minute. Triforce Super Soccer's Alfredo Vasconcelos managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Adelino Simão in the 78 minute of the game. Adelino Freire made a fantastic save in the 82nd minute, when 余永川 sent off a good shot on target. 余永川 blasted a shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Adelino Freire having to make a save. With a little luck, Triforce Super Soccer's Adelino Freire got control of the ball when 余永川 tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a rather tough play, Triforce Super Soccer's Alfredo Vasconcelos got a free kick in the 90th minute. After 96 minutes of play, Cruzeiro Esporte Clube's 余永川 made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Adelino Freire was left in no man's land by his defense there! Cruzeiro Esporte Clube played a much better game than Triforce Super Soccer and deserved their victory. The Triforce Super Soccer players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
