Cruzeiro Esporte Clube's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Albertus FC the free kick. The supporters of Albertus FC booed when Cruzeiro Esporte Clube was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dagoberto Vieira didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 24th minute, Riemer Mulders hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 31st minute, 余永川 made a precise shot to the right of Leendert Borg. Albertus FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Leendert Borg was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but 余永川 showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-1 in the 34 minute of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Riemer Mulders made a kick off. 51 minutes into the match, Albertus FC's goal looked a bit too open when 余永川 came free, but Leendert Borg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. But to his dismay, 余永川 quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-1. 61 minutes into the match, Albertus FC's goal looked a bit too open when Gwidon Cwojdak came free, but Leendert Borg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Albertus FC's Leendert Borg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by 余永川 in the 62nd minute of play. The audience was convinced that 余永川's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Leendert Borg was relentless in the 86th minute of the game. Cruzeiro Esporte Clube's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
