Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ladislao Hitz made a kick off. Ermegildo Berdaitz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Mala Lech's shot from short distance in the 51st minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ivan Vistruario got free with Ermegildo Berdaitz in the 71st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The corner led to LA LUZ F.C.'s Celestino Katia getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Ermegildo Berdaitz made a fantastic save in the 76th minute, when Ivan Vistruario sent off a good shot on target. Celestino Katia's late challenge caught a Deuce Athletic Club's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Celestino Katia helped the player get up and apologised. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Andrés Torres during the 96th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, LA LUZ F.C.'s Andrés Torres got a free kick in the 96th minute. The LA LUZ F.C. players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
