Cássio Dracena's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Walter Fransson read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 9th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Club 23's Emil Cioran got a free kick in the 10th minute. 13 minutes into the match, Club 23's Cássio Dracena sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Walter Fransson narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When the match clock showed 15 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Cássio Dracena sped through Fire Devils's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Walter Fransson. In the 18thth minute of the game Cássio Dracena who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Fire Devils's Walter Fransson was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Rene Cirella made in the 19th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Dave Drescher however managed to control. During this time Club 23's players had a chance to rest. 46 minutes into the game, Emanuel Robescu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Club 23's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Fire Devils the free kick. After the first half Club 23 were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Golo Gana ran back to his position shaking his head. After 88 minutes, Golo Gana made it 0-7 with a short kick to the right side. Fire Devils's Walter Fransson tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 90th minute, Golo Gana got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Fire Devils's Walter Fransson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Golo Gana in the 95th minute of play. Club 23's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
