Victor Orzaize fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 2nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gaétan Toullec having to interfere. Gaétan Toullec took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Celestino Basualdo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A hard shot 5 in the game by Isaac Cassou from a close distance when the talented Danilo Heli managed to make a qualified save. Trinidad 4.7's players were relieved. After a defensive mix-up in Cats and dogs's zone, Victor Orzaize stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gaétan Toullec came out of the goal and Victor Orzaize tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 8th minute Victor Orzaize shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gaétan Toullec saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 10 minutes into the match, Trinidad 4.7's goal looked a bit too open when Christophe Montaigne came free, but Danilo Heli reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 12th match minute, Trinidad 4.7 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by David Lope to maneuver through the defense. Augustin Boulnois recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 12th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Desiderio Ixona charged in rather forcefully in the 13th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Desiderio Ixona the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 13 played minutes Trinidad 4.7 got a freekick which was hit by Desiderio Ixona. Trinidad 4.7's Danilo Heli played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Christophe Montaigne in the 16th minute of play. Gaétan Toullec made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leo Ochoa in the 19th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Christophe Montaigne in the 21st minute of play forced Trinidad 4.7's goalkeeper Danilo Heli to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Paulo Louineau kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. Danilo Heli took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Christophe Montaigne, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Danilo Heli made a fantastic save in the 28th minute, when Isaac Cassou sent off a good shot on target. Leo Ochoa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Christophe Montaigne in the 43rd minute of play forced Trinidad 4.7's goalkeeper Danilo Heli to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Danilo Heli was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Christophe Montaigne showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 46 minute of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Leo Ochoa to make the kick off. Gaétan Toullec showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leo Ochoa in the 53rd minute of the match. After 58 minutes Cats and dogs's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Celestino Basualdo who took care of the corner kick. Danilo Heli made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Christophe Montaigne in the 59th minute of play. 61 minutes into the match, Cats and dogs's goal looked a bit too open when Leo Ochoa came free, but Gaétan Toullec reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Victor Orzaize might have been able to make a better finish in the 63rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gaétan Toullec. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Victor Orzaize ran back to his position shaking his head. Danilo Heli took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Christophe Montaigne, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Trinidad 4.7's Victor Orzaize got a good chance for a goal in the 72nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to Cats and dogs getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Nelson Ricquebourg hit a great ball. In the 75th minute, Leo Ochoa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Gaétan Toullec didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Celestino Basualdo went, in the 80th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. After 83 played minutes Trinidad 4.7 got a freekick which was hit by Leo Ochoa. After 84 played minutes Cats and dogs got a freekick which was hit by Kader Miguet. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Paulo Louineau during the 85th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. With a little luck, Cats and dogs's Gaétan Toullec got control of the ball when Victor Orzaize tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 89th minute, Desiderio Ixona hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Danilo Heli showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Christophe Montaigne, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. 92 minutes into the match, Trinidad 4.7's goal looked a bit too open when Paulo Louineau came free, but Danilo Heli reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
