Despidida AFC's Baldomero Asteri played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emil Cioran in the 7th minute of play. In the 9th minute Bogdan Bogdanović shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Baldomero Asteri saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Club 23 booed when Despidida AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Albino Argider didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 20th minute, Bogdan Bogdanović ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Baldomero Asteri was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Marcelo Ixona kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. Dacian Săraru took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 24th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Baldomero Asteri. Despidida AFC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Cássio Dracena stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The Despidida AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Baldomero Asteri should have stopped the shot. Ati Cabezudo made in the 70th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Albino Argider. The audience was convinced that Bogdan Bogdanović's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Baldomero Asteri was relentless in the 73rd minute of the game. Club 23 were awarded a corner in the 75th minute after Despidida AFC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Dacian Săraru took the corner. 77 minutes into the match, Cássio Dracena had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Baldomero Asteri. Despidida AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cássio Dracena was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-6. Club 23's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Dacian Săraru in the 83rd minute. After 94 played minutes Club 23 got a freekick which was hit by Nae Lalescu. After a rather tough play, Despidida AFC's Gabriel Gervaso got a free kick in the 95th minute. When the final whistle sounded Club 23 left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Despidida AFC.
