But to his dismay, Ladislao Hitz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Baldomero Asteri made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ladislao Hitz in the 11th minute of play. Albino Honesto charged in rather forcefully in the 17th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Albino Honesto the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Ermegildo Berdaitz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Albino Argider, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. In the 21st match minute, Deuce Athletic Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Albino Honesto to maneuver through the defense. When Ladislao Hitz fell near the penalty area in the 58th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Deuce Athletic Club's protests and gave Ladislao Hitz a yellow card for diving instead. In the 58th minute, Ladislao Hitz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Deuce Athletic Club's Ermegildo Berdaitz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Albino Argider in the 65th minute of play. Elpidio Jorrin who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 66thth minute tested the skills of Ermegildo Berdaitz when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 69 minutes into the game, Gabriel Gervaso cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Ermegildo Berdaitz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Vicente Acevedo kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. Marcelino Uxio hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. Sergio Chorche got his second yellow card in the match during the 79th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. The supporters of Deuce Athletic Club booed when Despidida AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leonel Maureo didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Deuce Athletic Club's Marcelino Uxio got a free kick in the 94th minute. If Albino Argider had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ermegildo Berdaitz came out of the goal in the 97th minute to try and stop a shot by Despidida AFC's Albino Argider. But to his dismay, Albino Argider quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-3. The Despidida AFC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Despidida AFC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
