In the 8th minute, Victorino Lyadzhin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Baldomero Beremundo charged in rather forcefully in the 9th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Baldomero Beremundo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to C. A. Gral. Lamadrid getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Gaudencio Eufemio made a fantastic save in the 46th minute, when Carlos Alberto de Sousa sent off a good shot on target.

Diamantino Senna made a fantastic save in the 59th minute, when Prudencio Chumo sent off a good shot on target. After some careless play in the Futbol Club RRFV defense, Emiliano Louis kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Diamantino Senna. The Futbol Club RRFV fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Diamantino Senna should have stopped the shot. With a little luck, Futbol Club RRFV's Diamantino Senna got control of the ball when Emiliano Louis tried to sneak it across the goal line. The nice shot from Emiliano Louis in the 73rdth minute just in front of the goal should have ended in point on the board, but Diamantino Senna had a great feel for the game and superbly saved the ball from getting in by the left post. Lamadrid's Prudencio Chumo getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carlos Alberto de Sousa in the 81st minute of play forced C. A. Gral. Lamadrid were awarded a corner in the 90th minute after Futbol Club RRFV's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Victorino Lyadzhin took the corner. The corner led C. A. Gral. Lamadrid's Victorino Lyadzhin to fire away a dangerous shot which Diamantino Senna despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Futbol Club RRFV's Diamantino Senna played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pablo Vegetti in the 94th minute of play. The C. A. Gral. Lamadrid players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
