An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcelo Salas in the 25th minute of play forced The Irons Chorzów's goalkeeper Wincenty Balkiewicz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 26th minute, Łukasz Surma ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Clemente Savier was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. The Irons Chorzów:s Wincenty Balkiewicz showed great skill when he stopped Rafa Olarra:s penalty. In the 30th minute, Rafa Olarra ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Wincenty Balkiewicz was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. After a rather tough play, The Irons Chorzów's Łukasz Surma got a free kick in the 35th minute. Gwidon Popowicz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of ☣ⓇⓄⒸⓀⒺⓉ   -⃝ⓅⓄⓌⒺⓇ☣ booed when The Irons Chorzów was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gwidon Popowicz didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. ☣ⓇⓄⒸⓀⒺⓉ   -⃝ⓅⓄⓌⒺⓇ☣ had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
