After having played for 14 minutes, Isidoro Mangas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. VILLARREAL UNITED's supporters crossed their fingers, but Isidoro Mangas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Pedro Benítez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gigi Câmpeanu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tsubasa Ozora sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Nechifor Oargă showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tsubasa Ozora, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. After a defensive mix-up in FC UNIREA Alba Iulia's zone, Tsubasa Ozora stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nechifor Oargă came out of the goal and Tsubasa Ozora tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 29 minutes into the match, Tsubasa Ozora had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Nechifor Oargă. FC UNIREA Alba Iulia's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Tsubasa Ozora was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. After some careless play in the FC UNIREA Alba Iulia defense, Isidoro Mangas kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Nechifor Oargă. The FC UNIREA Alba Iulia fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Nechifor Oargă should have stopped the shot. After 38 played minutes VILLARREAL UNITED got a freekick which was hit by Cordaro Ramis. FC UNIREA Alba Iulia's Nechifor Oargă played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tsubasa Ozora in the 43rd minute of play. Tsubasa Ozora sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 45th minute Tsubasa Ozora shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nechifor Oargă saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 49th minute, Gigi Câmpeanu reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Pedro Benítez. The goal made the score 1-3. The FC UNIREA Alba Iulia players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. VILLARREAL UNITED were winning 1-3.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Isidoro Mangas was the one to do the kick off. Tsubasa Ozora really showed his touch with that goal: 1-4. 63 minutes into the game, VILLARREAL UNITED's Tsubasa Ozora nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Nechifor Oargă made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-5. 67 minutes into the match, VILLARREAL UNITED's Isidoro Mangas sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Nechifor Oargă narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The supporters of FC UNIREA Alba Iulia booed when VILLARREAL UNITED was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Turi Montaña didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gavril Niculiță fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pedro Benítez having to interfere. Isidoro Mangas might have been able to make a better finish in the 78th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Nechifor Oargă. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Isidoro Mangas ran back to his position shaking his head. After a rather tough play, VILLARREAL UNITED's Benjamin Gimeno got a free kick in the 80th minute. If Isidoro Mangas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. VILLARREAL UNITED's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
