The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Paulo José Gaúcho kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. Vecdet Koçyiğit blasted a shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Gilson de Alcântara having to make a save. Vecdet Koçyiğit's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Gilson de Alcântara firmly grabbed it by the left post. If Corryn Bolt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Lenílson Munhoz fell near the penalty area in the 41st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Chinho FC's protests and gave Lenílson Munhoz a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Chinho FC getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Lenílson Munhoz hit a great ball. Recep Talha Uçhan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Corryn Bolt in the 47th minute of the match. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The wind increased when Vecdet Koçyiğit made the kick off in the second half. 56 minutes in the game, Zé Paraense fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Recep Talha Uçhan having to interfere. After a rather tough play, ÇORUM SPOR KULÜBÜ's Zekai Asker got a free kick in the 83rd minute. After some careless play in the Chinho FC defense, Vecdet Koçyiğit kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gilson de Alcântara. The Chinho FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gilson de Alcântara should have stopped the shot. Recai Özbal hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. Corryn Bolt took the ball and in the 92 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Recep Talha Uçhan. Recep Talha Uçhan dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2.
