Lúcio Lopes stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Leon Ogazón's shot from short distance in the 3rd minute. Heitor Neves charged in rather forcefully in the 3rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Heitor Neves the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Heitor Neves hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. 15 minutes into the match, Deportivo G⦕⩙⦖'s goal looked a bit too open when Quim Barreiros came free, but Bengi Price reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lúcio Lopes came out of the goal in the 17th minute to try and stop a shot by Deportivo G⦕⩙⦖'s Andi Johnson. But to his dismay, Andi Johnson quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 25th minute the ball was on its way in behind Arrebimba o Malho SLB's goalkeeper Lúcio Lopes, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Quim Barreiros in the 29th minute of play forced Deportivo G⦕⩙⦖'s goalkeeper Bengi Price to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 36th minute, Amado Mendiko hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 39th minute, Andi Johnson ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Lúcio Lopes was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Deportivo G⦕⩙⦖'s Arturo Caradaro managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Edelmiro Eladio in the 41 minute of the game. After 45 played minutes Deportivo G⦕⩙⦖ got a freekick which was hit by Leon Ogazón. The Arrebimba o Malho SLB players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Deportivo G⦕⩙⦖ were winning 0-2.

After a rather tough play, Deportivo G⦕⩙⦖'s Amado Mendiko got a free kick in the 50th minute. Bengi Price showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Quim Barreiros, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. The audience was convinced that Quim Barreiros's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Bengi Price was relentless in the 53rd minute of the game. After 54 minutes, Ivo Coutinho mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Arrebimba o Malho SLB and the Deportivo G⦕⩙⦖ players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 54 played minutes Arrebimba o Malho SLB got a freekick which was hit by Ivo Coutinho. Lúcio Lopes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leon Ogazón in the 58th minute of play. 60 minutes into the game, Masao Koriotto was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Deportivo G⦕⩙⦖'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Arrebimba o Malho SLB the free kick. Masao Koriotto kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. Bengi Price showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Quim Barreiros, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. Lúcio Lopes made an important save on a dangerous shot by Andi Johnson in the 66th minute. Bengi Price made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Quim Barreiros in the 73rd minute of play. When Ivo Coutinho was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 74 minutes had been played. The supporters of Deportivo G⦕⩙⦖ booed when Arrebimba o Malho SLB was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ivo Coutinho didn't get a good kick on the ball. Heitor Neves fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bengi Price having to interfere. 81 minutes into the match, Deportivo G⦕⩙⦖'s goal looked a bit too open when Heitor Neves came free, but Bengi Price reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 83rd minute Gavino Arixo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lúcio Lopes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 87th minute, Andi Johnson made a precise shot to the right of Lúcio Lopes. Arrebimba o Malho SLB's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. Bengi Price took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Quim Barreiros, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Quim Barreiros had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Arrebimba o Malho SLB manager could be seen shouting at his players as they walked down the tunnel after the match. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing Deportivo G⦕⩙⦖ to win.
