La Cosa Nostra's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. In the 18th minute Cristian Tarragon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Francisco Berdoi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 19th minute, Haroldo Lleir left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Las Momias F. C. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. After 22 minutes, Hector Cordarell mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the La Cosa Nostra and the Las Momias F. C. players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to La Cosa Nostra getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. C.'s supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Las Momias F. C. may have spent more time on the ball, but La Cosa Nostra were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
