La Cosa Nostra's supporters rose to their feet, but Hector Cordarell was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Stavri Minovski breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Stavri Minovski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leonel Rafe in the 18th minute of play. After some careless play in the La Cosa Nostra defense, Rostislav Benov kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Francisco Berdoi. The La Cosa Nostra fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Francisco Berdoi should have stopped the shot. After 23 played minutes La Cosa Nostra got a freekick which was hit by Artemio Urritz. Hector Cordarell could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 25th minute of the match, but Stavri Minovski made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rostislav Benov in the 30th minute of play forced La Cosa Nostra's goalkeeper Francisco Berdoi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nikifor Smochevski's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Francisco Berdoi read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 32nd minute of play. After a rather tough play, La Cosa Nostra's Timoteo Luken got a free kick in the 39th minute. In the 40th minute, Stamen Daskalov got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 41st minute Bozhko Pavurdzhiev shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Francisco Berdoi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

A collision led to La Cosa Nostra getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Dario Jerano hit a great ball. La Cosa Nostra's Hector Cordarell got a good chance for a goal in the 63rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Stamen Daskalov, 67 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Hector Cordarell received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Stavri Minovski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fabio Inko kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. Nikifor Smochevski could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 76th minute of the match, but Francisco Berdoi made a huge save. Stavri Minovski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hector Cordarell, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Through an outstanding action, after 89 minutes, Francisco Berdoi successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Stavri Minovski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hector Cordarell in the 91st minute of play. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched VN BAKITO eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
