After some fancy dribbling in the 9th minute, Rıdvan Kıralp managed to get in a good position for a shot. Yeşilköyspor's supporters rose to their feet, but Rıdvan Kıralp was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ruy Sarmento breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ruy Sarmento showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rıdvan Kıralp in the 9th minute of the match. If Kemalettin Taykut had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 13 minutes, Kemalettin Taykut managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Yeşilköyspor's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kemalettin Taykut was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ruy Sarmento made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rıdvan Kıralp in the 21st minute of play. Ruy Sarmento showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Acar Turgay in the 25th minute of the match. Ruy Sarmento showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kemalettin Taykut, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. After having played for 29 minutes, Rıdvan Kıralp managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rıdvan Kıralp in the 46th minute of play forced Marzagão's goalkeeper Ruy Sarmento to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Kemalettin Taykut to make the kick off. Rıdvan Kıralp took the ball and in the 53 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ruy Sarmento. Ruy Sarmento dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. A hard shot 60 in the game by Rıdvan Kıralp from a close distance when the talented Ruy Sarmento managed to make a qualified save. Marzagão's players were relieved. 62 minutes into the match, Marzagão's goalkeeper Ruy Sarmento had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rıdvan Kıralp. 63 minutes into the match, Acar Turgay notched a goal, 0-4, to the right of Marzagão's Ruy Sarmento. Ruy Sarmento was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Arkın Semavi kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. In the 73rd minute, Kemalettin Taykut got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Yeşilköyspor's Kemalettin Taykut got a good chance for a goal in the 74th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 78th minute Rıdvan Kıralp shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ruy Sarmento saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gökcan Sinan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Ruy Sarmento tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Aysan Burçhan hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. 91 minutes into the match, Marzagão's goal looked a bit too open when Kemalettin Taykut came free, but Ruy Sarmento reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 94th minute Kemalettin Taykut shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ruy Sarmento saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Marzagão getting a freekick after 96 minutes play. Jânio Faria hit a great ball. Yeşilköyspor played a much better game than Marzagão and deserved their victory. The Marzagão players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
