In the 7th match minute, Marzagão was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leonardo Vides to maneuver through the defense. Neil Mar struck a weak shot in the 10th minute. Charro Velandia didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Marzagão. In the 15th minute, Neil Mar left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Marzagão fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. After 27 minutes of play, Marzagão's Neil Mar made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Charro Velandia was left in no man's land by his defense there! The supporters of Marzagão booed when Laion Social Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gaitano Mori didn't get a good kick on the ball. Vachon Blas hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. Charro Velandia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from César Rosa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Laion Social Club booed when Marzagão was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. César Rosa didn't get a good kick on the ball. Charro Velandia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from César Rosa in the 44th minute of the match. The Laion Social Club players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Marzagão were winning 0-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Vachon Blas made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by César Rosa in the 55th minute of play forced Laion Social Club's goalkeeper Charro Velandia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 57 minutes into the match, Marzagão's goal looked a bit too open when Natal Arrieta came free, but Ruy Sarmento reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 61 minutes into the game, Laion Social Club's Natal Arrieta nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ruy Sarmento made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. After some careless play in the Marzagão defense, Vachon Blas kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ruy Sarmento. The Marzagão fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ruy Sarmento should have stopped the shot. Ruy Sarmento made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mino Canal in the 89th minute of play. In the 93rd minute César Rosa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Charro Velandia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Charro Velandia made a fantastic save in the 94th minute, when César Rosa sent off a good shot on target. Laion Social Club's Charro Velandia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leonardo Vides in the 96th minute of play.
