Elfar Elrond started the match with the kick off. With a little luck, HORIZZONT's Rüştü Recber got control of the ball when Edgar Pihlberg tried to sneak it across the goal line. Elfar Elrond could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 14th minute of the match, but Rüştü Recber made a huge save. Arif Babürşah's late challenge caught a Gondor FC™'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Arif Babürşah helped the player get up and apologised. In the 15th minute, HORIZZONT's Bora Han Vahit seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Bora Han Vahit the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of HORIZZONT protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Bora Han Vahit had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. After 16 played minutes HORIZZONT got a freekick which was hit by Bora Han Vahit. Rüştü Recber showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Safet Sušić, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. In the 21st match minute, HORIZZONT was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arif Babürşah to maneuver through the defense. In the 22nd minute Safet Sušić shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rüştü Recber saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gondor FC™'s Safet Sušić came free and shot a quick shot against goal 23 minutes in the game, fortunately Rüştü Recber had problems saving as it came toward the left post. 24 minutes into the game, Edgar Pihlberg recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Rüştü Recber. Edgar Pihlberg showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Rüştü Recber made an important save on a dangerous shot by Elfar Elrond in the 29th minute. Rüştü Recber showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hrvoje Prodanović, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. Rafa Nadal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mirza Yazargil, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. In the 38th minute Elfar Elrond shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rüştü Recber saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Yaşar Akbuğ made a kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Affan Tutkun during the 54th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Gondor FC™ booed when HORIZZONT was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Affan Tutkun didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edgar Pihlberg in the 55th minute of play forced HORIZZONT's goalkeeper Rüştü Recber to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hamid Hamedović scored 3-0 in the 85th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Rüştü Recber, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. HORIZZONT's Rüştü Recber played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edgar Pihlberg in the 88th minute of play. 90 minutes into the match, Gondor FC™'s goalkeeper Rafa Nadal had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Arif Babürşah. In the 91st minute Hamid Hamedović shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rüştü Recber saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edgar Pihlberg in the 93rd minute of play forced HORIZZONT's goalkeeper Rüştü Recber to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
