Union Madereros's Luis Swain played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luís Henrique in the 5th minute of play. Luis Swain made a fantastic save in the 7th minute, when Luiz Pitta sent off a good shot on target. Gaston Roderigo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cornelio Colas in the 9th minute of play. Geordi Berthelette hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. Washington Bezerra's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Luis Swain firmly grabbed it by the left post. Ovidio Karmel kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. Luis Swain made a fantastic save in the 21st minute, when Luiz Pitta sent off a good shot on target. The Club Dep. Union Madereros fans' excitement grew in the 22nd match minute when Club Dep. Union Madereros's Ovidio Karmel looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Luis Swain made a fantastic save in the 27th minute, when Luís Henrique sent off a good shot on target. Luis Swain showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leonel Guedes in the 31st minute of the match. Luis Swain made an important save on a dangerous shot by Luiz Pitta in the 33rd minute. 34 minutes into the match, América-SC F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Cornelio Colas came free, but Gaston Roderigo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Luis Swain took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fellipe Travassos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match had gone on for 39 minutes, Luís Henrique took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Luis Swain to make any attempt to save it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Juan Lekubegi in the 43rd minute of play forced América-SC F.C.'s goalkeeper Gaston Roderigo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Juan Lekubegi came up free with the goalie in the 46th minute, the Club Dep. Union Madereros fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Juan Lekubegi couldn't finish the play. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Luís Henrique was the one to do the kick off. In the 52nd match minute, Club Dep. Union Madereros was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cornelio Enmanuel to maneuver through the defense. Gaston Roderigo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lucas Ioritz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match had gone on for 56 minutes, Lucas Ioritz put it in 1-2 from a short distance just to the right of Gaston Roderigo. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luiz Pitta in the 60th minute of play forced Club Dep. Union Madereros's goalkeeper Luis Swain to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lucas Ioritz took the ball and in the 63 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gaston Roderigo. Gaston Roderigo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. Juan Lekubegi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Gaston Roderigo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gaston Roderigo made a fantastic save in the 80th minute, when 宋钢延 sent off a good shot on target. In the 83rd minute Washington Bezerra shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luis Swain saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 84th minute of the match América-SC F.C. got a corner. Club Dep. Union Madereros's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Fellipe Travassos ran over to the corner to take the kick. Luís Henrique kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. Washington Bezerra fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luis Swain having to interfere. Luis Swain showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leonel Guedes in the 89th minute of the match. Sixto Janpier hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. In the 92nd minute, Luís Henrique ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Luis Swain was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-3. Wen Yuan Zhen kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. When Fellipe Travassos came up free with the goalie in the 96th minute, the América-SC F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fellipe Travassos couldn't finish the play. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Club Dep. Union Madereros had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
