When Anacleto Lluciano fell near the penalty area in the 19th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Gondor FC™'s protests and gave Anacleto Lluciano a yellow card for diving instead. After 20 played minutes Gondor FC™ got a freekick which was hit by Anacleto Lluciano. In the 21st minute, Washington Bezerra got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 23rd minute Luiz Pitta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rafa Nadal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gaston Roderigo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hrvoje Prodanović in the 27th minute of play. Gaston Roderigo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hrvoje Prodanović in the 28th minute of the match. Washington Bezerra in the 29thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Washington Bezerra fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rafa Nadal having to interfere. Washington Bezerra received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Rafa Nadal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Luís Henrique stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute Luiz Pitta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rafa Nadal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bard Bowman struck a weak shot in the 92nd minute. Gaston Roderigo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Gondor FC™. América-SC F.C.'s Gaston Roderigo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 93rd minute of the match, managed to save América-SC F.C. from getting a goal against them. After 94 played minutes América-SC F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Washington Bezerra. Gondor FC™'s fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
