Cosme Mendebal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carter Gargano having to interfere. Carter Gargano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Federico Colas in the 8th minute of the match. Carter Gargano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Federico Colas, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. A hard shot by Damaso Udalaitz from long distance, 21 minutes into the match, got Prospero Maju's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Federico Colas might have been able to make a better finish in the 32nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Carter Gargano. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Federico Colas ran back to his position shaking his head. When the match had gone on for 34 minutes, Federico Colas put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Carter Gargano. Carter Gargano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Federico Colas in the 37th minute of play. If Federico Colas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Federico Colas in the 48th minute of play forced Doping Positivo's goalkeeper Carter Gargano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After the first half Gallardo y Biscay FC were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Mauro Telmo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, Gallardo y Biscay FC's Federico Colas ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Carter Gargano. Carter Gargano yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-5. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Aquiles Orland during the 54th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Federico Colas in the 66th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Carter Gargano prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After having played for 68 minutes, Mauro Telmo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Doping Positivo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mauro Telmo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 71 played minutes Gallardo y Biscay FC got a freekick which was hit by Primitivo Jatsu. Prospero Maju took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Donato Lazcano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Federico Colas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 75 minutes into the match, Doping Positivo's goal looked a bit too open when Federico Colas came free, but Carter Gargano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Federico Colas took the ball and in the 77 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Carter Gargano. Carter Gargano dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-6. Prospero Maju made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mauro Telmo in the 82nd minute of play. Miguel Borja blasted a shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Carter Gargano having to make a save. Doping Positivo's Rodolfo Caride was substituted for Mauro Telmo. In the 91st minute, Leopoldo Ellande hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The Doping Positivo fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Gallardo y Biscay FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
