The audience thought a goal was coming when Carlos Rezende got free with Ysmael Alemparte in the 9th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Rómulo Jaramillo hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. Rogelio Luco took the ball and in the 15 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Luís Fábio Silveira. Luís Fábio Silveira dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. After some careless play in the Flamengo FSCMZ defense, Rogelio Luco kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Luís Fábio Silveira. The Flamengo FSCMZ fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Luís Fábio Silveira should have stopped the shot. After 23 played minutes Flamengo FSCMZ got a freekick which was hit by Pedro Luiz Teles. Luís Fábio Silveira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rogelio Luco in the 25th minute of the match. Luís Fábio Silveira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pío Ducoing in the 29th minute of play. Luís Fábio Silveira didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Reyes Passalacqua went, in the 31st minute, to the upper right corner, 0-5 was the resulting score. A hard shot 35 in the game by Aquiles Leonidas from a close distance when the talented Ysmael Alemparte managed to make a qualified save. Altermundi FC's players were relieved. Rogelio Luco might have been able to make a better finish in the 38th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Luís Fábio Silveira. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Rogelio Luco ran back to his position shaking his head. 40 minutes into the game, Altermundi FC's Rogelio Luco nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Luís Fábio Silveira made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-6. The supporters of Altermundi FC booed when Flamengo FSCMZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Carlos Rezende didn't get a good kick on the ball. Luís Fábio Silveira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sem Barang, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After the first half Altermundi FC were leading 0-6. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Sem Barang to strike the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Altermundi FC booed when Flamengo FSCMZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marco Fonseca didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sem Barang received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Luís Fábio Silveira came out and tried to block the shot, but Sem Barang slotted it home off the left post making it 0-7 in the 54th minute. Luís Fábio Silveira didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Rogelio Luco went, in the 58th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-8 was the resulting score. Flamengo FSCMZ's Luís Fábio Silveira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rogelio Luco in the 63rd minute of play. When the match had gone on for 65 minutes, Rogelio Luco put it in 0-9 from a short distance just to the right of Luís Fábio Silveira. Luís Fábio Silveira made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rogelio Luco in the 69th minute. In the 83rd minute of the match Altermundi FC got a corner. Flamengo FSCMZ's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Dante Baros ran over to the corner to take the kick. Altermundi FC's Pío Ducoing was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Luís Fábio Silveira in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Luís Fábio Silveira was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Pío Ducoing showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-12 in the 87 minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rogelio Luco in the 90th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Luís Fábio Silveira saved Flamengo FSCMZ from getting behind. 92 minutes into the game, Altermundi FC's Pío Ducoing nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Luís Fábio Silveira made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-13. The supporters of Flamengo FSCMZ booed when Altermundi FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Miren Parada didn't get a good kick on the ball. Altermundi FC played a much better game than Flamengo FSCMZ and deserved their victory. The Flamengo FSCMZ players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
