To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 17 minutes into the match, Altermundi FC's goalkeeper Ysmael Alemparte had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Bartosz Fink. Fabian Mojsiewicz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pío Ducoing, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Rogelio Luco came up free with the goalie in the 23rd minute, the Altermundi FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rogelio Luco couldn't finish the play. 27 minutes into the game, Bartosz Fink cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Ysmael Alemparte was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 32nd minute Franciszek Ankiewicz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ysmael Alemparte saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
