In the 4th minute, Adalbert Oblakov left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Julias Rascals Apeldoorn fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. If Gerard Boschker had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. A collision led to CA Quake getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Cristo Perrando hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in CA Quake's zone, Adalbert Oblakov stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ivan Karmel came out of the goal and Adalbert Oblakov tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 11th minute, Damaso Isidor got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 14th minute Adalbert Oblakov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ivan Karmel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 15th minute, Cristo Perrando hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ivan Karmel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adalbert Oblakov, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 18 played minutes CA Quake got a freekick which was hit by Ildefonso Transito. The audience was convinced that Adalbert Oblakov's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ivan Karmel was relentless in the 20th minute of the game. Gerard Boschker's late challenge caught a CA Quake's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gerard Boschker helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Julias Rascals Apeldoorn's Gerard Boschker got a free kick in the 21st minute. In the 29th minute Adalbert Oblakov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ivan Karmel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 29 minutes into the match, CA Quake's goal looked a bit too open when Adalbert Oblakov came free, but Ivan Karmel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Adalbert Oblakov in the 33rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ivan Karmel saved CA Quake from getting behind. In the 35th minute, Adalbert Oblakov made a precise shot to the right of Ivan Karmel. CA Quake's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. After 38 played minutes, CA Quake's Hector Totakoxe shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Pieter Beuk came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in CA Quake reached it. If Hector Totakoxe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 42 minutes into the game, Adalbert Oblakov was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Julias Rascals Apeldoorn's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave CA Quake the free kick. Adalbert Oblakov hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. 45 minutes into the match, CA Quake's goal looked a bit too open when Adalbert Oblakov came free, but Ivan Karmel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ildefonso Transito charged in rather forcefully in the 46th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ildefonso Transito the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Ildefonso Transito hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. After the first half Julias Rascals Apeldoorn were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Melquiades Argoitz to make the kick off. When Ab Berends fell near the penalty area in the 50th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Julias Rascals Apeldoorn's protests and gave Ab Berends a yellow card for diving instead. Gerard Boschker got his second yellow card in the match during the 53rd minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. After a rather tough play, Julias Rascals Apeldoorn's Gerard Boschker got a free kick in the 53rd minute. In the 54th minute Melquiades Argoitz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pieter Beuk saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 57 minutes, Sander Klasen mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Julias Rascals Apeldoorn and the CA Quake players grew even worse after the yellow card. CA Quake's Ivan Karmel proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 61st minute of the match, managed to save CA Quake from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Melquiades Argoitz in the 64th minute of play forced Julias Rascals Apeldoorn's goalkeeper Pieter Beuk to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 72 played minutes, Julias Rascals Apeldoorn's Joop van der Schaaf shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Ivan Karmel came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. CA Quake's Ivan Karmel proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 77th minute of the match, managed to save CA Quake from getting a goal against them. 79 minutes into the game, Adalbert Oblakov recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Ivan Karmel. Adalbert Oblakov showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-4. Ildefonso Transito was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 86 minutes into the match. In the 85th minute, one of CA Quake:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for CA Quake. CA Quake's Ivan Karmel proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 93rd minute of the match, managed to save CA Quake from getting a goal against them. If Niels Borker had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the final whistle sounded Julias Rascals Apeldoorn left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than CA Quake.
