Olivedos's Armel Zettiņš played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Duda Favoretto in the 34th minute of play. RIVER y NADA MÁS 09.12.18's Timoteo Bartolome got a good chance for a goal in the 36th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Armel Zettiņš took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Duda Favoretto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 41st match minute, Olivedos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edson Mendes to maneuver through the defense. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

In the 75thth minute of the game Deivid Cavalcante who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but RIVER y NADA MÁS 09.12.18's Justin Abril was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. A sloppy throw-in by Famih Chee in the 80th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by RIVER y NADA MÁS 09.12.18's Niceto Chago. Armel Zettiņš made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ronaldão Fenomeno in the 85th minute of play.
