Natanael Sena took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adriano Neves, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Válter Siqueira in the 13th minute of play forced Belotaurus FC's goalkeeper Gustavo Brasil to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 19th minute, Bruninho Trevisan made a precise shot to the right of Natanael Sena. Monumento Sports's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. Gustavo Brasil showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Válter Siqueira in the 29th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Belotaurus FC's zone, Válter Siqueira stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gustavo Brasil came out of the goal and Válter Siqueira tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Belotaurus FC getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Edmílson de Brito hit a great ball. In the 34th minute, Válter Siqueira left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Monumento Sports fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. 38 minutes into the match, Monumento Sports's goal looked a bit too open when Bruninho Trevisan came free, but Natanael Sena reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gustavo Brasil showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Válter Siqueira, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. With a little luck, Monumento Sports's Natanael Sena got control of the ball when Adriano Neves tried to sneak it across the goal line. The Belotaurus FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Monumento Sports were winning 1-2.

Bunda Brilhante kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. 71 minutes into the match, Monumento Sports's Válter Siqueira sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gustavo Brasil narrowly saved just below the crossbar. A collision led to Belotaurus FC getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Norberto Senna hit a great ball. Natanael Sena made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bruninho Trevisan in the 76th minute of play. The supporters of Monumento Sports booed when Belotaurus FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Flávio de Lima didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gustavo Brasil stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Toninho Arruda's shot from short distance in the 84th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Válter Siqueira got free with Gustavo Brasil in the 86th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Toninho Arruda sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 94th match minute, Belotaurus FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Norberto Senna to maneuver through the defense. If Toninho Arruda had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the final whistle sounded Monumento Sports left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Belotaurus FC.
