Natanael Sena showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aloísio Vianna in the 9th minute of the match. The supporters of Belotaurus FC booed when Monumento Sports was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bunda Brilhante didn't get a good kick on the ball. The supporters of Belotaurus FC booed when Monumento Sports was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bruno Salles didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 17 minutes, Adriano Neves managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Belotaurus FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Adriano Neves was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Lucas Botelho blasted a shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Natanael Sena having to make a save. Natanael Sena took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adriano Neves, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 26th match minute, Belotaurus FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lucas Botelho to maneuver through the defense. Joel Lopes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Gustavo Brasil tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Adriano Neves's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Natanael Sena read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 36th minute of play. Natanael Sena made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aloísio Vianna in the 43rd minute of play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

Gustavo Brasil stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Joel Lopes's shot from short distance in the 51st minute. Natanael Sena made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aloísio Vianna in the 53rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Toninho Arruda in the 54th minute of play forced Belotaurus FC's goalkeeper Gustavo Brasil to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Toninho Arruda might have been able to make a better finish in the 58th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gustavo Brasil. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Toninho Arruda ran back to his position shaking his head. Kosta Kent fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gustavo Brasil having to interfere. Gustavo Brasil showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bunda Brilhante in the 67th minute of the match. Gustavo Brasil came out of the goal in the 67th minute to try and stop a shot by Monumento Sports's Bunda Brilhante. But to his dismay, Bunda Brilhante quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Márcio Nunes charged in rather forcefully in the 70th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Márcio Nunes the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Monumento Sports getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Márcio Nunes hit a great ball. In the 76th minute Toninho Arruda shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gustavo Brasil saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Belotaurus FC's Gustavo Brasil played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Toninho Arruda in the 78th minute of play. When Adriano Neves came up free with the goalie in the 79th minute, the Belotaurus FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Adriano Neves couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joel Lopes in the 81st minute of play forced Belotaurus FC's goalkeeper Gustavo Brasil to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Joel Lopes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 83rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Belotaurus FC booed when Monumento Sports was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Márcio Nunes didn't get a good kick on the ball. The supporters of Belotaurus FC booed when Monumento Sports was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Narciso Machado didn't get a good kick on the ball. Despite being the better team, Monumento Sports failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
