In the 3rd minute Eliseo Thomas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paulão Esteves saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Paulão Esteves took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eulalio Indalecio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Dr Lecter SC getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Andrézinho de Sousa hit a great ball. Benedito de Sousa hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. 12 minutes into the match, Jonathan Atarrabi had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Paulão Esteves. Dr Lecter SC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jonathan Atarrabi was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Dr Lecter SC's Paulão Esteves played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eliseo Thomas in the 15th minute of play. Paulão Esteves made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eliseo Thomas in the 16th minute of play. In the 19th minute Eliseo Thomas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paulão Esteves saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 19 minutes into the match, Eulalio Indalecio had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Paulão Esteves. Dr Lecter SC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Eulalio Indalecio was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Benedito de Sousa got in the 23rd a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Isaac Ibon handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. In the 27th minute Benedito de Sousa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Isaac Ibon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 29 minutes in the game Mateo Peruxu did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Eliseo Thomas. When Dr Lecter SC's Benedito de Sousa in the 35th minute got a chance for a shot 35th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Berni y Benja FC's goalie prevented a goal. 37 minutes into the match, Berni y Benja FC's goal looked a bit too open when Benedito de Sousa came free, but Isaac Ibon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dr Lecter SC's Paulão Esteves played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jonathan Atarrabi in the 39th minute of play. Isaac Ibon stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Benedito de Sousa's shot from short distance in the 41st minute. Isaac Ibon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zeca de Lara in the 44th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Benedito de Sousa in the 46th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Isaac Ibon saved Berni y Benja FC from getting behind. After the first half Berni y Benja FC were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Benedito de Sousa stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Isaac Ibon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zeca de Lara, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. After 53 minutes, Eulalio Indalecio mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Berni y Benja FC and the Dr Lecter SC players grew even worse after the yellow card. 60 minutes into the match, Berni y Benja FC's goal looked a bit too open when Benedito de Sousa came free, but Isaac Ibon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Eulalio Indalecio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 69th minute Zeca de Lara shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Isaac Ibon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Paulão Esteves made an important save on a dangerous shot by Silvano Geofredo in the 73rd minute. Silvano Geofredo had several of the Dr Lecter SC's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 74 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 0-3 score and a disappointed Paulão Esteves as he didn't even see the shot coming. In the 78th minute Delfim Barbosa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Isaac Ibon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 80 minutes, Isaias Bernad mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Berni y Benja FC and the Dr Lecter SC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 80 played minutes Berni y Benja FC got a freekick which was hit by Isaias Bernad. Delfim Barbosa took the ball and in the 83 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Isaac Ibon. Isaac Ibon dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. Benedito de Sousa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Berni y Benja FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
