Joélson Carvalho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Firman Gomar in the 10th minute of the match. Guto Recife hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Centenario Bohemio's Gavino Oliveiro got a free kick in the 13th minute. In the 14th minute of the match Paulo José Campidelis shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ignacio Bessone showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Firman Gomar didn't have the luck on his side when he, from a short distance, got a opportunity for a shot on goal in the 22nd minute. The shot missed the goal on the right side and Firman Gomar ran dejectedly back to his position. In the 29th minute Firman Gomar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joélson Carvalho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Joélson Carvalho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Firman Gomar in the 31st minute of play. The supporters of Centenario Bohemio booed when Litoral EC - CIMZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Guto Recife didn't get a good kick on the ball. Joélson Carvalho showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Firman Gomar, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. The supporters of Centenario Bohemio booed when Litoral EC - CIMZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edson de Lara didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 44 minutes, Firman Gomar managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Centenario Bohemio's supporters crossed their fingers, but Firman Gomar was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ricardinho Vander in the 47th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ignacio Bessone saved Centenario Bohemio from getting behind. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Joélson Carvalho took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Diego Becker, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 58 minutes into the match, Centenario Bohemio's goal looked a bit too open when Igor Berger came free, but Ignacio Bessone reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Maximiliano Javiero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the Litoral EC - CIMZ defense, Firman Gomar kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Joélson Carvalho. The Litoral EC - CIMZ fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Joélson Carvalho should have stopped the shot. Joélson Carvalho came out of the goal in the 65th minute to try and stop a shot by Centenario Bohemio's Diego Becker. But to his dismay, Diego Becker quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Joélson Carvalho came out of the goal in the 69th minute to try and stop a shot by Centenario Bohemio's Firman Gomar. But to his dismay, Firman Gomar quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. 72 minutes into the match, Litoral EC - CIMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Firman Gomar came free, but Joélson Carvalho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A hard shot by Paulo José Campidelis from long distance, 77 minutes into the match, got Ignacio Bessone's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Joélson Carvalho showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Diego Becker, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. Paulo José Campidelis's late challenge caught a Centenario Bohemio's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Paulo José Campidelis helped the player get up and apologised. Diego Becker scored 4-1 in the 84th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Joélson Carvalho, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a rather tough play, Litoral EC - CIMZ's Edson de Lara got a free kick in the 91st minute.
