Milosz Skaradowski charged in rather forcefully in the 4th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Milosz Skaradowski the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Centenario Bohemio booed when Cosmos 1984 NewDance was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Milosz Skaradowski didn't get a good kick on the ball. Diego Becker fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Andrzej Köpke having to interfere. 9 minutes into the game, Centenario Bohemio's Firman Gomar nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Andrzej Köpke made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Kryspin Jaroszewicz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Cosmos 1984 NewDance fans' excitement grew in the 18th match minute when Cosmos 1984 NewDance's Kryspin Jaroszewicz looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 22nd minute, Kryspin Jaroszewicz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Cosmos 1984 NewDance's Andrzej Köpke played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Firman Gomar in the 27th minute of play. Firman Gomar scored 2-1 in the 28th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Andrzej Köpke, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The audience was convinced that Firman Gomar's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Andrzej Köpke was relentless in the 31st minute of the game. When the match had been going on for 33 minutes, Centenario Bohemio's Nicolas Mosca got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Andrzej Köpke. Maximiliano Javiero sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Centenario Bohemio's Firman Gomar got a good chance for a goal in the 43rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 46th minute, Piotr Bronkala hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Nicolas Mosca came up free with the goalie in the 47th minute, the Centenario Bohemio fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nicolas Mosca couldn't finish the play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-1 at half-time.
The wind increased when Kryspin Jaroszewicz made the kick off in the second half. After 52 played minutes Centenario Bohemio got a freekick which was hit by Baldomiro Oto. 54 minutes into the match, Centenario Bohemio's goal looked a bit too open when Wlodzimierz Zagrobelny came free, but Ignacio Bessone reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 57th minute, Diego Becker left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Centenario Bohemio fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-1. Firman Gomar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With his leg Ignacio Bessone managed to avoid a goal in the 62ndth minute, when Cosmos 1984 NewDance's Kryspin Jaroszewicz fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Andrzej Köpke made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Firman Gomar in the 64th minute of play. 66 minutes into the game, Cosmos 1984 NewDance's Arkadiusz Wnukowski nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ignacio Bessone made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-2. Centenario Bohemio's Ignacio Bessone proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 81st minute of the match, managed to save Centenario Bohemio from getting a goal against them. 86 minutes into the match, Diego Becker had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Andrzej Köpke. Cosmos 1984 NewDance's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Diego Becker was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 7-2. Andrzej Köpke made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Firman Gomar in the 90th minute of play. Diego Becker might have been able to make a better finish in the 93rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Andrzej Köpke. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Diego Becker ran back to his position shaking his head. After having played for 97 minutes, Firman Gomar managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Centenario Bohemio's supporters crossed their fingers, but Firman Gomar was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Centenario Bohemio were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Cosmos 1984 NewDance for a fine match.
