Gilson Meirelles could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 4th minute of the match, but Raymond Bos made a huge save. 6 minutes into the match, Lemel SV's goal looked a bit too open when Agostinho Almeida came free, but Raymond Bos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 8th minute, Barry Masker ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Wágner Seco was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Lemel SV's Raymond Bos proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 12th minute of the match, managed to save Lemel SV from getting a goal against them. Wágner Seco showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Barry Masker, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. Edward Verbeek succeeded in the game's 37th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-2. After some fancy dribbling in the 41st minute, Barry Masker managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lemel SV's supporters rose to their feet, but Barry Masker was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Wágner Seco breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Wágner Seco showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edward Verbeek in the 46th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Barry Masker in the 47th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Wágner Seco saved Juventudes Libertárias from getting behind. After 47 minutes, Barry Masker made it 0-3 with a short kick to the right side. Juventudes Libertárias's Wágner Seco tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

In the 63rd match minute, Lemel SV was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rudi Hateboer to maneuver through the defense. Raymond Bos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alexsandro Simão in the 68th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Juventudes Libertárias's Leonel Faria got a free kick in the 69th minute. Agostinho Almeida fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Raymond Bos having to interfere. Juventudes Libertárias's Alexsandro Simão got a good chance for a goal in the 72nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 78th minute, Edward Verbeek hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Gilson Meirelles had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Raymond Bos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gilson Meirelles in the 80th minute of play. A collision led to Juventudes Libertárias getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Márcio Santos hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Agostinho Almeida in the 87th minute of play forced Lemel SV's goalkeeper Raymond Bos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gilson Meirelles struck a weak shot in the 89th minute. Raymond Bos didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Juventudes Libertárias. Alexsandro Simão fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Raymond Bos having to interfere. Raymond Bos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Agostinho Almeida, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Lemel SV eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
