After the first half Twierdza Osowiec were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jörn Helström to make the kick off. The Twierdza Osowiec fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Waut Vanden Berghe should have stopped the shot. Kartal Başar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 78th minute, Jimeno Geofredo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Cura del Futbol fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. In the 88thth minute of the game Jörn Helström who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Twierdza Osowiec's Waut Vanden Berghe was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Haakon á Borg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kartal Başar in the 93rd minute of play. There was no doubt that Cura del Futbol were the better team. Cura del Futbol's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
