Pereiras FC's Luís Guilherme Trancoso got a good chance for a goal in the 6th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Carson Kilgore showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Enio Palmeira in the 10th minute of the match. When Bara Miss fell near the penalty area in the 11th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Marshrose's protests and gave Bara Miss a yellow card for diving instead. Bara Miss hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. In the 13th minute Luís Guilherme Trancoso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carson Kilgore saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Marshrose defense, Luís Guilherme Trancoso kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Carson Kilgore. The Marshrose fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Carson Kilgore should have stopped the shot. Silas Soeiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Pereiras FC's Enio Palmeira in the 21st minute got a chance for a shot 21st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Marshrose's goalie prevented a goal. With a little luck, Pereiras FC's Vânderson Botelho got control of the ball when Blair Mélançon tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 25th minute, Silas Soeiro made a precise shot to the right of Carson Kilgore. Marshrose's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Carson Kilgore showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Enio Palmeira in the 30th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Enio Palmeira in the 33rd minute of play forced Marshrose's goalkeeper Carson Kilgore to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Columbus Long kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. After 37 minutes, Jake Perrault mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Marshrose and the Pereiras FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. With his leg Vânderson Botelho managed to avoid a goal in the 44thth minute, when Marshrose's Bara Miss fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Blair Mélançon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vânderson Botelho having to interfere. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

After a rather tough play, Pereiras FC's Silas Soeiro got a free kick in the 50th minute. Pereiras FC's Vânderson Botelho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Blair Mélançon in the 51st minute of play. In the 54th minute Bara Miss shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vânderson Botelho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 56 minutes into the match, Marshrose's goal looked a bit too open when Silas Soeiro came free, but Carson Kilgore reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Pereiras FC's Enio Palmeira in the 57th minute got a chance for a shot 57th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. One of Marshrose:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Pereiras FC:s goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Luís Guilherme Trancoso kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Carson Kilgore. That made the score 0-4 in the 72 minute of play. Carson Kilgore took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luís Guilherme Trancoso, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Luís Guilherme Trancoso had several of the Marshrose's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 76 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 0-5 score and a disappointed Carson Kilgore as he didn't even see the shot coming. 84 minutes into the match, Pereiras FC's goal looked a bit too open when Jame Gilliam came free, but Vânderson Botelho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Enio Palmeira recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
