In the 16th minute the ball was on its way in behind Pereiras FC's goalkeeper Vânderson Botelho, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ronaldo Isidoro in the 20th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Edmílson Britto saved Trindade Atlético Club from getting behind. In the 21st minute of the match Pereiras FC got a corner. Trindade Atlético Club's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Valdemar Bueno ran over to the corner to take the kick. After a rather tough play, Trindade Atlético Club's Hudson Cardozo got a free kick in the 22nd minute. Edmílson Britto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luís Guilherme Trancoso in the 26th minute of the match. After 33 minutes Trindade Atlético Club's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Valdemar Bueno who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on Pereiras FC's corner Valdemar Bueno fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Edmílson Britto quite easily take care of the ball. Ronaldo Isidoro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Edmílson Britto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 38th minute of the match Valdemar Bueno shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Edmílson Britto showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ronaldo Isidoro in the 40th minute of play forced Trindade Atlético Club's goalkeeper Edmílson Britto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 43 played minutes Trindade Atlético Club got a freekick which was hit by Alex Santos. Ronaldo Isidoro succeeded in the game's 45th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 2-0. In a very dangerous position, a player in Trindade Atlético Club fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 47th minute. Penalty! No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ronaldo Isidoro to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 57th minute, Giovani Sergipano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Edmílson Britto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ronaldo Isidoro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 63rd minute, Zhuo Cheng Xiang got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Pereiras FC's Enio Palmeira was substituted for Silas Soeiro. The supporters of Trindade Atlético Club booed when Pereiras FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Enio Palmeira didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Pereiras FC's Valdemar Bueno got a free kick in the 68th minute. Pereiras FC's Vânderson Botelho proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 68th minute of the match, managed to save Pereiras FC from getting a goal against them. In the 83rd minute, Angelo Netto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Ronaldo Isidoro came up free with the goalie in the 87th minute, the Pereiras FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ronaldo Isidoro couldn't finish the play. In the 90th minute Ronaldo Isidoro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edmílson Britto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Zhuo Cheng Xiang might have been able to make a better finish in the 95th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Edmílson Britto. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Zhuo Cheng Xiang ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 97th minute, Ronaldo Isidoro made a precise shot to the right of Edmílson Britto. Trindade Atlético Club's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 6-0.
