In the 6th match minute, Garlic Eaters was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bruninho Falcão to maneuver through the defense. Wilber Padgett was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. A collision led to Garlic Eaters getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Tod Tompkins hit a great ball. Gez Barber's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Santiago Hatch read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 20th minute of play. Garlic Eaters's Gul Keep played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jame Gilliam in the 27th minute of play. In the 28th minute, Columbus Long hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 30th minute, Marshrose's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Gez Barber fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Baldomero Rufo charged in rather forcefully in the 31st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Baldomero Rufo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Baldomero Rufo kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. Santiago Hatch was out of position in the 32 minute of play, and James Tuck capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. James Tuck really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Gez Barber fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Santiago Hatch having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Marshrose's zone, Gez Barber stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Santiago Hatch came out of the goal and Gez Barber tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. James Tuck sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Santiago Hatch didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gez Barber went, in the 45th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. Bruninho Falcão charged in rather forcefully in the 47th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Bruninho Falcão the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Garlic Eaters's Bruninho Falcão got a free kick in the 47th minute. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gez Barber to make the kick off. Santiago Hatch showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gez Barber in the 56th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Garlic Eaters's Gez Barber got a free kick in the 60th minute. In the 64th minute Jame Gilliam shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gul Keep saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Jame Gilliam had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Santiago Hatch stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gez Barber's shot from short distance in the 70th minute. In the 71st minute Gez Barber shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Santiago Hatch saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gez Barber received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Santiago Hatch tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 75 minutes into the game, Garlic Eaters's Shane Barratt nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Santiago Hatch made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. After 78 minutes, Shane Barratt mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Garlic Eaters and the Marshrose players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 78 played minutes Garlic Eaters got a freekick which was hit by Shane Barratt. After 81 played minutes Garlic Eaters got a freekick which was hit by Albert Crawshaw. Gul Keep acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 82nd minute, took the ball on the long shot from Sammie Laderoute. After 89 minutes of play, Garlic Eaters's Gez Barber made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Santiago Hatch was left in no man's land by his defense there! The audience thought a goal was coming when Bara Miss got free with Gul Keep in the 93rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Bara Miss could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 95th minute of the match, but Gul Keep made a huge save. After 96 played minutes Marshrose got a freekick which was hit by Jason Charron. Tod Tompkins was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 97th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Garlic Eaters's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
