Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Checa Peñas started the match with the kick off. In the 2nd match minute, The Underdogs was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Denny Haan to maneuver through the defense. Jean-Paul Daalmeyer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Txindoki Ameda in the 5th minute of play. In the 9th minute Checa Peñas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jean-Paul Daalmeyer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Shao Hui Li could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 13th minute of the match, but Garaona Alfeiran made a huge save. In the 15th minute, Shao Hui Li got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some careless play in the Deportivo ScrugenFC defense, Shao Hui Li kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Garaona Alfeiran. The Deportivo ScrugenFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Garaona Alfeiran should have stopped the shot. 20 minutes into the game, Ben Snel was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. The Underdogs's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Deportivo ScrugenFC the free kick. In the 20th minute, Ben Snel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The Underdogs's Jean-Paul Daalmeyer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Chus Carreira in the 22nd minute of play. 26 minutes had been played when some careless play by Deportivo ScrugenFC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Ben Snel was slow to take the kick. During this time The Underdogs's players had a chance to rest. A collision led to Deportivo ScrugenFC getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Caradaro Arismendi hit a great ball. In the 28th minute, Ben Snel got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Checa Peñas in the 38th minute of play forced The Underdogs's goalkeeper Jean-Paul Daalmeyer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 41st minute, Constantino Hurtado hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 42 minutes into the match, Deportivo ScrugenFC's goalkeeper Garaona Alfeiran had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Shao Hui Li. After 44 minutes, Constantino Hurtado mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Deportivo ScrugenFC and the The Underdogs players grew even worse after the yellow card. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The Underdogs's Godfried de Boer quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Constantino Hurtado, made in the 51st minute of the game. Garaona Alfeiran came out of the goal in the 52nd minute to try and stop a shot by The Underdogs's Shao Hui Li. But to his dismay, Shao Hui Li quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Jean-Paul Daalmeyer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Chus Carreira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Underdogs's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Ben Snel in the 58th minute. The corner led The Underdogs's Ben Snel to fire away a dangerous shot which Garaona Alfeiran despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Garaona Alfeiran showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Denny Haan in the 64th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Checa Peñas in the 66th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jean-Paul Daalmeyer prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 67 minutes of play Deportivo ScrugenFC's Constantino Hurtado was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. The supporters of The Underdogs booed when Deportivo ScrugenFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Constantino Hurtado didn't get a good kick on the ball. Constantino Hurtado kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. Denny Haan scored 3-0 in the 72nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Garaona Alfeiran, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 80 minutes into the match, Deportivo ScrugenFC's goal looked a bit too open when Denny Haan came free, but Garaona Alfeiran reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Denny Haan's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Garaona Alfeiran was relentless in the 80th minute of the game. A collision led to Deportivo ScrugenFC getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Everardo Maruri hit a great ball. Garaona Alfeiran made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Denny Haan in the 86th minute of play. Denny Haan took the ball and in the 86 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Garaona Alfeiran. Garaona Alfeiran dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. 89 minutes into the match, Deportivo ScrugenFC's goal looked a bit too open when Denny Haan came free, but Garaona Alfeiran reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gerard van den Eede's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Garaona Alfeiran read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 90th minute of play. Garaona Alfeiran showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gerard van den Eede in the 92nd minute of the match. Garaona Alfeiran stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gerard van den Eede's shot from short distance in the 94th minute. The The Underdogs support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
