In the 2nd minute the ball was on its way in behind La Pantera Azulgrana's goalkeeper Primitivo Cordaryal, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 4th minute, Javi García hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 5 minutes into the match, La Pantera Azulgrana's Conrado Ted broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Martin-Daniel Palermo hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. Ciro Farias's late challenge caught a La Pantera Azulgrana's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ciro Farias helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Lengua de Lobo getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Ciro Farias hit a great ball. Primitivo Cordaryal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Martin-Daniel Palermo, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. Martin-Daniel Palermo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Primitivo Cordaryal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 24 played minutes Lengua de Lobo got a freekick which was hit by Martin-Daniel Palermo. Primitivo Cordaryal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Guillermo Barros Schelloto, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. Martin-Daniel Palermo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Conrado Ted to make the kick off. Martin-Daniel Palermo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd rose to their feet as Lengua de Lobo's Martin-Daniel Palermo slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Primitivo Cordaryal. That made the score 0-2 after 56 minutes of play. Primitivo Cordaryal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Martin-Daniel Palermo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lengua de Lobo's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Ciro Farias in the 62nd minute. Andres Cristofol hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. Martin-Daniel Palermo who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 66thth minute tested the skills of Primitivo Cordaryal when he managed to save the team from getting behind. When the match clock showed 67 minutes, the score became 0-3 when Guillermo Barros Schelloto sped through La Pantera Azulgrana's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Primitivo Cordaryal. Conrado Ted received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Agustin Rossi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Guillermo Barros Schelloto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Angel Correa took the ball and in the 81 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Primitivo Cordaryal. Primitivo Cordaryal dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. Martin-Daniel Palermo scored 0-5 in the 85th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Primitivo Cordaryal, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Primitivo Cordaryal came out of the goal in the 89th minute to try and stop a shot by Lengua de Lobo's Guillermo Barros Schelloto. But to his dismay, Guillermo Barros Schelloto quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-6. When Javi García fell near the penalty area in the 93rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Lengua de Lobo's protests and gave Javi García a yellow card for diving instead. The Lengua de Lobo players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
