TZILACATZIN's Edinho Lira proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 20th minute of the match, managed to save TZILACATZIN from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Evaristo Castro in the 29th minute of play forced TZILACATZIN's goalkeeper Edinho Lira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match had gone on for 35 minutes, Laurgain Ruiz took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Edinho Lira to make any attempt to save it. A sloppy throw-in by Alan Almeida in the 38th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by TZILACATZIN's Albino Calisto. Luisito Bordat hit a great freekick 48 minutes into the match.

Edinho Lira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Yuri Alberto in the 79th minute of the match. After 87 minutes MAZER SAF's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Birger Jespersson who took care of the corner kick. After 93 minutes, Evaristo Castro mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the MAZER SAF and the TZILACATZIN players grew even worse after the yellow card.
