After a defensive mix-up in RO Army V55's zone, Vincent Abubakar stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Helmuth Duckadam came out of the goal and Vincent Abubakar tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Vincent Abubakar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Helmuth Duckadam having to interfere. 10 minutes into the match, RO Army V55's goal looked a bit too open when Vincent Abubakar came free, but Helmuth Duckadam reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 12th minute, Vincent Abubakar left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ballkam Sportsklubb fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Vincent Abubakar in the 16th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Helmuth Duckadam prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Vincent Abubakar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Helmuth Duckadam tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gerasimos Patsionidis made in the 21st minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Ballkam Sportsklubb's Milton Melgar. RO Army V55's Helmuth Duckadam played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vincent Abubakar in the 25th minute of play. Helmuth Duckadam made a fantastic save in the 27th minute, when Vincent Abubakar sent off a good shot on target. Milton Melgar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Helmuth Duckadam having to interfere. Vincent Abubakar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Helmuth Duckadam tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Helmuth Duckadam took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vincent Abubakar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 36th minute Iosif Pantelatos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Odin Saue saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of RO Army V55 booed when Ballkam Sportsklubb was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Elvio Victoro didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 38th minute of the match Daniel Prodan shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Odin Saue showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Alexandros Papakrivas made a kick off. After a rather tough play, RO Army V55's Iosif Pantelatos got a free kick in the 50th minute. 54 minutes into the match, Ballkam Sportsklubb's Vincent Abubakar sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Helmuth Duckadam narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 56 minutes into the match, RO Army V55's goal looked a bit too open when Lars Lax came free, but Helmuth Duckadam reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 58th minute the ball was on its way in behind RO Army V55's goalkeeper Helmuth Duckadam, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Vassilis Stergioudas kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Elvio Victoro in the 62nd minute of play forced RO Army V55's goalkeeper Helmuth Duckadam to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 63rd minute of the match Ballkam Sportsklubb got a corner. RO Army V55's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Elvio Victoro ran over to the corner to take the kick. Milton Melgar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Vincent Abubakar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 71st minute, Vincent Abubakar managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ballkam Sportsklubb's supporters rose to their feet, but Vincent Abubakar was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Helmuth Duckadam breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 74th minute, Vincent Abubakar made a precise shot to the right of Helmuth Duckadam. RO Army V55's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. Ballkam Sportsklubb's Vincent Abubakar managed to work through RO Army V55's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Vincent Abubakar dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. Ballkam Sportsklubb made a substitution. Yoachim Sterkx replaced Wu Hong Zheng. The supporters of Ballkam Sportsklubb booed when RO Army V55 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Iosif Pantelatos didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Lars Lax in the 83rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Helmuth Duckadam saved RO Army V55 from getting behind. Vincent Abubakar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ballkam Sportsklubb walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
