Tuncay Cansever sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Degerfors IF's Artemio Maore quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Renos Stefanou, made in the 17th minute of the game. Tuncay Cansever could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 22nd minute of the match, but Thodoris Tabakis made a huge save. If Tuncay Cansever had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Tuncay Cansever sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Thodoris Tabakis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tuncay Cansever, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. Tuncay Cansever's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Thodoris Tabakis read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 36th minute of play. Tuncay Cansever received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Thodoris Tabakis came out and tried to block the shot, but Tuncay Cansever slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 37th minute. Karl Grep kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. After 42 played minutes Degerfors IF got a freekick which was hit by Karl Grep. After a defensive mix-up in Degerfors IF's zone, Daniel Prodan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Håkan Söderberg came out of the goal and Daniel Prodan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tuncay Cansever was the one to do the kick off. Håkan Söderberg made an important save on a dangerous shot by Fanis Kapernekas in the 52nd minute. 54 minutes into the game, Renos Stefanou threw the ball into play from the sideline. Degerfors IF's Artemio Maore quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. A collision led to RO Army V55 getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Sokratis Symeonakis hit a great ball. 김 손 took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 56th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Thodoris Tabakis. RO Army V55's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Tuncay Cansever scored 2-0 in the 57th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Thodoris Tabakis, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Degerfors IF made a substitution. Åke Fors replaced Tuncay Cansever. Degerfors IF's 김 손 quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Vassilis Stergioudas, made in the 62nd minute of the game. In the 65th minute Degerfors IF were awarded a corner. Åke Fors went to the cornerflag to take it. Åke Fors made a great header on Degerfors IF's corner, it was just that RO Army V55's Thodoris Tabakis managed to reach the ball for a save. If Christian Håkansson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 72 minutes into the match, Degerfors IF's goal looked a bit too open when Sokratis Symeonakis came free, but Håkan Söderberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Degerfors IF's attentive Witold Serwacki managed to snatch the ball when Vassilis Stergioudas made a throw-in in the 76th minute of the game. If Åke Fors had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Åke Fors recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Åke Fors scored 3-0 in the 84th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Thodoris Tabakis, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 89th match minute, Degerfors IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Witold Serwacki to maneuver through the defense. Åke Fors struck a weak shot in the 92nd minute. Thodoris Tabakis didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Degerfors IF. Degerfors IF's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
