Åke Fors took the ball and in the 3 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Edinho Lira. Edinho Lira dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Håkan Söderberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Homero Thomson, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. After 8th play minutes Daniel Cabrera shot 1-1, a short shot which went by Håkan Söderberg and just under the crossbar into goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Åke Fors in the 11th minute of play forced TZILACATZIN's goalkeeper Edinho Lira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 12th minute, 孙树真 hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 21stth minute of the game Åke Fors who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but TZILACATZIN's Edinho Lira was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 27th match minute, TZILACATZIN was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Victoriano Distiratsu to maneuver through the defense. TZILACATZIN's Edinho Lira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Åke Fors in the 35th minute of play. After 38 played minutes TZILACATZIN got a freekick which was hit by Americo Gaskon. Edinho Lira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fredrik Isak, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. Edinho Lira stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Åke Fors's shot from short distance in the 41st minute. Philip Kihlman hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Tuncay Cansever stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Birger Jespersson during the 54th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Hipolito Tiso made in the 59th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Homero Thomson immediately put the ball in play. After 72 played minutes Tuncay Cansever rounded TZILACATZIN's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-3. 75 minutes into the match, TZILACATZIN's goal looked a bit too open when Tuncay Cansever came free, but Edinho Lira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 76th minute Degerfors IF were awarded a corner. Fredrik Isak went to the cornerflag to take it. Degerfors IF's Fredrik Isak was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Edinho Lira in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Hipolito Tiso made in the 82nd minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Degerfors IF's 김 손. Tuncay Cansever blasted a shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Edinho Lira having to make a save. Tuncay Cansevers short, quick shot in the 86thth minute got Edinho Lira to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. A collision led to Degerfors IF getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Tomas Kråk hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Degerfors IF's zone, Victoriano Distiratsu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Håkan Söderberg came out of the goal and Victoriano Distiratsu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The TZILACATZIN supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Degerfors IF's performance. The match ended with a win for Degerfors IF.
