Joga Bonito's Radomir Japola played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Einer Therkelsen in the 9th minute of play. Pheonix FC's Wolfgang Vesterø got a good chance for a goal in the 17th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Wolfgang Vesterø in the 21st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Radomir Japola saved Joga Bonito from getting behind. When Wolfgang Vesterø came up free with the goalie in the 23rd minute, the Pheonix FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Wolfgang Vesterø couldn't finish the play. Radomir Japola showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wolfgang Vesterø, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. Radomir Japola didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Wolfgang Vesterø went, in the 30th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Pheonix FC's Wolfgang Vesterø got a good chance for a goal in the 34th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 36th minute, Wolfgang Vesterø made a precise shot to the right of Radomir Japola. Joga Bonito's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. Radomir Japola showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wolfgang Vesterø, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. Jonathan Rosby's late challenge caught a Joga Bonito's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jonathan Rosby helped the player get up and apologised. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Zbyszko Dula was the one to do the kick off. Radomir Japola came out of the goal in the 59th minute to try and stop a shot by Pheonix FC's Wolfgang Vesterø. But to his dismay, Wolfgang Vesterø quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-5. In the 62nd minute, Wolfgang Vesterø got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Wolfgang Vesterø might have been able to make a better finish in the 64th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Radomir Japola. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Wolfgang Vesterø ran back to his position shaking his head. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ludomir Lisewski in the 67th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tyge Oehlerich saved Pheonix FC from getting behind. In the 70th minute, Wolfgang Vesterø made a precise shot to the right of Radomir Japola. Joga Bonito's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-6. In the 79th minute, Pheonix FC's Wolfgang Vesterø dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-7. Zbyszko Dula kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. Wolfgang Vesterø fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Radomir Japola having to interfere. When Wolfgang Vesterø came up free with the goalie in the 87th minute, the Pheonix FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Wolfgang Vesterø couldn't finish the play. Wolfgang Vesterø struck a weak shot in the 88th minute. Radomir Japola didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pheonix FC. Radomir Japola showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jonas Læksand, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. Zula Oryl charged in rather forcefully in the 93rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Zula Oryl the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 93rd minute, Zula Oryl hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Marcel Militaru was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 95th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal.
