The audience was convinced that Raymundo Kirkland's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but 梅荣光 was relentless in the 20th minute of the game. Dean Niven scored 1-1 in the 22nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Trenton Call, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Black Knights FC's Trenton Call played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jez Alcock in the 24th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jez Alcock in the 25th minute of play forced Black Knights FC's goalkeeper Trenton Call to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 26th minute Leicester Foxes Academy were awarded a corner. Peter Pennant went to the cornerflag to take it. When Leicester Foxes Academy's Stuart Greenfield in the 29th minute got a chance for a shot 29th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Black Knights FC's goalie prevented a goal. Trenton Call made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jez Alcock in the 30th minute of play. A collision led to Leicester Foxes Academy getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Dean Niven hit a great ball. When Sidney Lin fell near the penalty area in the 45th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Black Knights FC's protests and gave Sidney Lin a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Black Knights FC's Sidney Lin got a free kick in the 46th minute. Barry Drummond's late challenge caught a Leicester Foxes Academy's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Barry Drummond helped the player get up and apologised. Barry Drummond hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. If Jez Alcock had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Stuart Greenfield was the one to do the kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sidney Lin in the 60th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck 梅荣光 prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Leicester Foxes Academy's defense didn't have a chance, in the 63rd minute, when Raymundo Kirkland scored to the left of an out of position 梅荣光, making the score, 1-2. Maxwell Myrick kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. In the 69th minute of the match Peter Pennant shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Trenton Call showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Elias Ferguson kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving 梅荣光. That made the score 1-3 in the 75 minute of play. Sidney Lin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Black Knights FC's Trenton Call played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Julian Joachim in the 82nd minute of play. Trenton Call took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Julian Joachim, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 90th minute, Stuart Greenfield left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Leicester Foxes Academy fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-3. 95 minutes into the match, Julian Joachim notched a goal, 3-3, to the right of Black Knights FC's Trenton Call. Trenton Call was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Leicester Foxes Academy were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
